Our speech therapist will listen to your concerns and assess to find out what communication or swallowing problem you have. She will advise what she sees, and recommend further testing, speech strategies, and/or monitoring as required.
Our speech therapist will use assessment techniques to accurately identify your communication and swallowing strengths and weaknesses. This will allow us to better explain your difficulties, and develop a customized treatment plan and goals to help you.
(1 or 2 assessment sessions. Not required if you have a current assessment report.)
Our speech therapist will work directly with you (our client), provide coaching and support to parents, caregivers, teachers/employers, and work with other professionals to provide effective and evidence-based treatment.
Our goal is to enable real-life speech therapy outcomes by gradually reducing therapy sessions and helping our clients use their new skills at home, at school, at work, and/or in the community.
(Initially once a week or fortnightly for 2 to 4 sessions. Thereafter, individual
session frequency may increase or reduce according to patient needs and progress. Treatment sessions at home, school, or workplace may be used to enhance treatment outcomes).
For parents with young children who have concerns about late talking, speech delay or autism. Learn speech therapy activities and strategies to develop first words and early sentences. Speech-language practice, monitoring, and screening built into every session. No assessment required to join.
